Social network — Creator economy
A social network where paying African creators is the starting point, not a feature added later.
African creators build substantial audiences on platforms that, for the most part, pay them nothing: existing monetisation programmes are unavailable, out of reach, or denominated in currencies and payment methods that never arrive.
Wiix starts from that problem instead of appending it at the end. Revenue mechanics, payout thresholds and disbursement channels are designed alongside the feed and the publishing formats, with mobile money as the default way to get paid.
The product is in testing. It reuses the identity, payment, media pipeline and AI moderation layer already running across our other platforms — which is what makes a social network a reasonable decision for a startup our size.
